The Yucca Torreyi is an evergreen, very impressive, sculptural yucca. Perfect for providing a dramatic accent to your garden design.
Cold tolerant, it is hardy to drought as well as cold when established, down to temperatures of around -15 degrees. It's leaves can be either bluish-green or yellowish-green and are are concave in shape, fleshy but rigid they do have a sharp terminal point. Arranged in an attractive symetrical rosettes, they can have a small number of curly filaments near the base. Mature specimens produce a slender trunk which can branch over time. Dense, showy flowers are a creamy-white colour and appear on spikes above the foliage from June to October.
A beautiful Yucca, that is very easy to keep and needs minimal maintenance.
