Yucca Filamentosa 'Colour Guard'
Also known as Adam's Needle Yucca, this evergreen perennial is one of the most stunning varigated yuccas.
Incredibly attractive it forms rosettes of rigid bayonet-like leaves of rich green with a striking broad stripe of creamy/pale yellow down their centre. Mature plants produce tall upright branched flowers stalks between 1-2m with creamy-white bell shaped fragrant flowers.
Slow but really hardy and extremely easy to grow and maintain, it is a great addition to any border, bringing a touch of the exotic.
