Wisteria Sinensis And Wisteria Floribunda.

Wisteria is one of the most spectacular and graceful climbing vines, fast growing and extremely hardy. Large and long cascading clusters of fragrant showy flowers  in colours of lilac, pink or white. The Wisteria Sinensis (Chinese Wisteria) flowers appear in spring just before it bursts into leaf but the Wisteria Floribunda (Japanese Wisteria) flowers open along with the leaves. Alternate leaves are dark green and pinnate with up to 9-19 leaflets. The vines can have the occasionally bloom through summer too.

This beautiful climber is great for covering walls, archways, and pergolas in courtyards and city gardens as well as making great container plants for patios, conservatories and greenhouses. Having ornate spiral stems brings interest to every part of the tree.

Wisteria Sinensis Prolific Blue- Chinese Wisteria with lilac-blue flowers.

Wisteria Floribunda Honbeni- Japanese Wisteria with pale rose colour tipped with purple.

Wisteria Floribunda Shiro Noda also known as Longisimum Alba- Japanese Wisteria with white flowers tinged with lilac.
