The Trithrinax Campestris is one of the most cold hardy palms in the world, tolerating severe cold and high winds. It has incredibly stiff blue/grey leaves arranged in a tight crown on top of a robust spikey trunk.
Usually a clumping palm it is slow, but very easy to grow and is a striking architectural palm.
Quite unusual for the UK, it is great for collectors of hardy exotics.
