Sabal Bermudana. Bermuda Palm

The Sabal Bermudana Palm is a slow growing, robust and tropical looking palm.  A crown of huge evergreen fan leaves deeply divided into numerous long narrow leaflets, mid green in colour with occasionally a bluish tint, sit above a solitary stout trunk, greyish in colour.

Tolerates cool and damp conditions as well as hot and dry, withstanding a good amount of cold and frost down to -10 or lower for short periods of time.
This is a great ornamental palm which is extremely salt tolerant, so perfect for coastal positions. Will do well in large containers too, giving interest and variety to your garden and patio.

Very difficult to find for sale in the UK.
