Rhipsalis Baccifera Shaferi. Hanging Cactus.
The Rhipsalis Baccifera Shaferi Cactus has long pale green succulent pendent green stems. Very attractive, these thin cylindrical sprawling stems are errect to begin with before cascading down over the pot giving a waterfall effect.  Although spineless, areoles are bristly when young, otherwise the stems are smooth. Numerous silvery-white to silvery-green flowers appear on the sides of the stems throughout the growing season but the main flowering times are mid spring and late summer. These are followed by small roundish white berries which can sometimes be tinged with pink.

This unique and very trendy cactus is perfect for providing a dramatic accent to your house or office.

These types of cacti are Epiphytic, meaning in habitat they grow in trees or on rocks, getting their nutrients from the air or dead leaves and other debris collected in the cracks or crevasses.

Very easy to keep needing minimal maintenance.
