Phormium 'Flamingo'. New Zealand Flax 'Flamingo'.
The Phormium 'Flamingo' also known as New Zealand Flax 'Flamingo' is one of the easiest exotics to grow and is really low maintenance. A Clump forming perennial it has really striking spear shaped leaves, striped with colours of pink, coral, apricot and green. More compact in form than some of the other varieties of phormiums. Tolerant of wind, it is great for coastal positions.
Cold hardy, it provides great architectural interest to your garden, great if you're looking for a stylish contempory feel. Perfect for growing in pots too.
