The Philodendron Narrow is native to the rain forests of South America and can be grown in the UK as a very ornamental and decorative houseplant. Upright in growth habit making it ideal for vertical interest if grown up a moss pole. It's narrow glossy green leaves, are deeply serrated and become more so with age reaching a length of up to 90cm long when mature.
Relatively fast growing this lush tropical looking plant is easy to care and brings a piece of the jungle indoors, whilst also helping with air purifying as it filters out airborne toxins. Can be placed outside during summer.

Common Name: Philodendron 'Narrow'.
Origin: South America.

Growth Characteristics: Evergreen. Large attractive glossy green serrated leaves with a upright growth habit.Each leaf is unique in shape and can grow to 90cm long. Easy to care for. Harmful if ingested. Can be placed outside during summer.
Sunlight: Bright Indirect sun light/ shade.
Exposure: Indoor House Plant.
Soil: Rich. Well drained soil.
Moisture: Water well through the growing season but allow the top half of the soil to dry before re-watering. Less in winter. Mist occasionally. Do not let sit in water but can be placed on a pebble tray.
Feeding: Feed once a month through summer with a balanced half strength liquid feed.
