Peach Tree. Variety 'Saturne'.
The 'Saturne' is a moderately vigorous variety of Peach Tree with an upright form, it is easy to grow and a reliable producer of fruit. Scented and showy pink blossom is produced in Springtime followed by the peaches which are ready to harvest around August into September. The fruit is an unusual flat doughnut shape with white-yellow coloured skin flushed with red. The flesh is white in colour with a firm texture and packed with delicious sweet juice, delicate flavours and plenty of vitamins. The Variety 'Saturne' is self fertile, meaning no other tree is needed to set the fruit. A very decorative tree with oblong leaves it grows very well in a sunny sheltered location, great for coastal locations and hardy throughout most of the UK.
