The 'Baby Gold' is a very vigorous variety of Peach Tree with an upright form, it is easy to grow and a reliable producer of fruit. Scented white or pink blossom is produced in Springtime followed by the peaches which are ready to harvest around late July-August. The fruit is a good size with an orange coloured skin occasionally flushing with red, while the flesh is a rich golden colour with a firm texture packed with delicious sweet juice, delicate flavours and plenty of vitamins. The Variety 'Baby Gold' is self fertile, meaning no other tree is needed to set the fruit. A very decorative tree with oblong leaves it grows very well in a sunny sheltered location, great for coastal locations and hardy throughout the UK.
