PASSIFLORA QUADRANGULARIS. Passion Flower
The Passiflora Quadrangularis is a fast growing climber with the most beautiful exotic flowers produced in succession throughout the summer. Flowers are scented and can be over 4 inches across with deep red petals and a centre crown that contains numerous white and purple wavy filaments.
Broad, rich green oval shaped leaves and pale green tendrils. Also know as the Giant Granadilla it has large fruit which are medium yellow when mature and can be eaten or used in drinks. For best fruiting the flowers should be hand-pollinated
Frost tender, but they make great container plants for consevatories and greenhouses.
