Opuntia Microdasys var Albispina. Cacti.
The Opuntia Microdasys var Albispina is a clustering Cacti forming a dense shrub up to 40-60cm tall. Miniature pads have no spines but bear numerous fine white glochids (hair-like prickles) in dense clusters from each areole.

Lemon/yellow flowers are produced between 3-5cm across and are followed by red fruits.

Very easy to keep, great for growing in pots and needs minimal maintenance.

Also commonly known as 'White Bunny Ears' Cactus.

    Common Name: White Bunny Ears Cactus, Rabbit Ears Cactus, Polka-Dot Cactus, Angel Wings Cactus 

    Origin: Mexico.

    Hardiness: Hardy down to -5 degrees for short periods if dry. 

    Growth Characteristics: Slow growing clustering Cactus. Dark green miniature pads. Does not have spines, but numerous white glochids in dense clusters. Flowers are yellow/lemon followed by red fruit. 

    Sun: Full sun/partial shade.

    Exposure: Sheltered.

    Soil: Well drained soil. Gritty. 

    Moisture: Water around every 10-14 days. Allow to dry between waterings. Keep dry in winter.
