The Opuntia Microdasys Undulata is a clustering Cacti forming a dense shrub up to 40-60cm tall. Unusual twisted pads have no spines but bear numerous bright yellow glochids (hair-like prickles) in dense clusters.Lemon/yellow flowers are produced between 3-5cm across and are followed by red fruits.
Very easy to keep, great for growing in pots and needs minimal maintenance.

Origin: Mexico.
Hardiness: Hardy down to -7
Growth Characteristics: Slow growing clustering Cactus. Dark green unusual twisted pads. Does not have spines, but numerous bright yellow glochids in dense clusters. Flowers are yellow/lemon followed by red fruit.
Sun: Full sun/partial shade.
Exposure: Sheltered.
Soil: Well drained soil. Gritty. Not rich in Nitrogen.
Moisture: Water around every 10-14 days. Allow to dry between waterings. Keep dry in winter.
