Olive Trees. Tall, slim trunks.

These stunning Olive Trees have a tall, slim trunk, lightish in colour, with good branch structure and beautiful crowns of silvery green foliage.  A great addition to any patio or terrace perfect as an ornamental, evergreen tree, this open crown formation can be pruned to keep it in shape.  

The Olea Europaea or commonly known as the European Olive instantly brings a piece of the Mediterranean to your garden. It has been grown in the Mediterranean for centuries for oil and fruit production and become increasingly popular in the UK as it can tolerate temperatures down to -15 degrees whilst also being very wind resistant. If you would like fruit, a sunny spot is better. 
Caring for an Olive Tree is easy, remember they are a fruit tree so they will need regular watering and feeding. Feed your Tree with a balanced fertilizer such as 'Olive Focus' once a fortnight from May to October to ensure your Olive Tree grows well in the UK.

    Growth: Easy to grow. An evergreen ornamental tree with small silvery green leathery leaves. Tall, slim trunks with good branch structure and open crowns. 

    Sun: Full sun.

    Soil: well drained soil.

    Water: Water regularly during the warmer months especially if in a pot. Avoid waterlogging.

    Pruning: Trim in Spring to early Summer to keep its shape

    Feeding: Feed a balanced liquid fertiliser such as 'Olive Focus' once every 2 weeks through the growing season
