The Araucaria Araucana or more commonly known as the Monkey Puzzle Tree is the hardiest species of conifer, tolerating temperatures down to -20 degrees.Very slow growing with evergreen spikey, stiff triangular shaped leaves which are arranged spirally around the trunk and branches. It is an upright almost symetrical tree in shape. Described as a living fosil, these stunning trees are under threat in their natural habitat.
