Mangave 'Bad Hair Day'. Manfreda x Agave

The Mangave 'Bad Hair Day' is a relatively new and exciting hybrid cross between Manfreda  Maculosa and Agave Geminiflora. Characterized by low but wide symetrical rosettes of long flat leaves which have dramatic colouration, being lime green, mottled with purple sppeckles becoming even more pronounced in full sun.  Although the leave have tiny marginal spines together with a terminal spine, they are relatively soft to touch compared to the Agave.

This Agave is tolerant of urban pollution and even thrives in inner city enviroments. Great for exotic gardens, it's bold silhouette making a wonderful architectural centrepiece. Perfect for urban and rock gardens and very low maintenance.
