The Livistona Chinensis is a stylish and elegant palm. A solitary trunked palm which is easy to grow and has amazing foliage. Glossy, large emerald green leaves which are deeply divided and droop gracefully downward. Cream/yellow flowers in early summer. Looks fantastic even when young.
Also known as the Chinese Fan Palm it has large, lustrous, tropical looking fan- shaped leaves, making it a stunning addition to any garden at a relatively cheap cost.
Hardy down to -4 it prefers a sheltered spot. As the plant matures it will become hardier, but younger plants will require protection in severe winters.
