Leptospermum Scoparium 'Red Damask'. Half Standard Trees.

The Leptospermum Scoparium 'Red Damask'  is an evergreen shrub producing masses of beautiful flowers between May and August. Loved by bees an butterflies the delicate double flowers are five petalled  and are a rich pink-red colour with dark centres. These are followed by small woody capsules containing tiny seeds. The dark green foliage is needle shaped and has a lovely scent. Perfect for adding showstopping colour, they are great for any garden be it coastal, Mediterranean, City, Courtyard or even to grow in pots on a sunny patio.

    Hardiness: Can withstand a light frost if not prolonged but best protected from frost.

    Growth Characteristics: Fairly quick growth rate. Evergreen. Masses of beautiful five petalled double flowers are a rich pink-red with dark centres from may to August. Scented dark green needle shaped foliage. Tiny seeds in small woody capsules. 

    Sunlight: Full sun.

    Exposure: Sheltered. 

    Soil: Any. Well drained soil.

    Moisture: Keep moist during growing season, water sparingly in winter.
