The Wisteria Sinensis is one of the most spectacular and graceful climbing vines, fast growing and extremely hardy. Large cascading clusters of fragrant showy flowers up to 80cm long in colours of lilac, pink or white appear in spring just before it bursts into leaf. Alternate leaves are dark green and pinnate with up to 9-19 leaflets. The vines can have the occasionally bloom through summer too.
This beautiful climber is great for covering walls, archways, and pergolas in courtyards and city gardens as well as making great container plants for patios, conservatories and greenhouses. These large Wisteria Vines are mature and are flowering each year. Having ornate spiral stems, bring interest to every part of the tree.

Growth Characteristics: Fast growing evergreen climber. Deciduous. Cascading clusters of fragrant white, lilac or pink flowers produced before leaves appear. Dark green pinnate leaves. Easy to grow.
Pruning: Prune twice a year, July/August and Jan/Feb.
Sunlight: Full sun/partial sun. Thrives in full sun.
Exposure: Sheltered.
Soil: Tolerates poor quality soil but prefers well drained soil.
Moisture: Water regularly through summer, less in winter.
