Kiwi Vine. Solissimo 'Renact' Variety.

The Kiwi Vine Solissimo 'Renact'  is a very attractive and fast growing climber. A relatively new cultivar it is the first self fertile variety which produces large fruit. Originating from the variety 'Hayward' it is more reliable at producing fruit than some of the others. It has large attractive heart shaped leaves with clusters of creamy white bell shaped flowers being produced around June time. The egg shaped bristly brown skinned fruit containing delicious lime green flesh rich in Vitamin C can be harvested in September.

Perfect as an alternative to conventional climbers, they are easy to grow and self fertile, so no pollination partner is necessary to produce fruit. Happy in containers if space is limited and great for growing on a trellis arch or pergola.

Grown in a sunny, sheltered position they will produce bountiful crops of delicious sweet fruits even in the UK.
Caring for your Kiwi Vine is easy, remember they are a fruit tree so they will need feeding. Feed with tomato feed every 2 weeks from a month after growth starts in spring and through the growing season until the Kiwis start to ripen.
