Isolatocereus Dumortieri Cacti. Candelabra Cactus.
The Isolatocereus Dumortieri Cactus is a large tree-like branching variety of cacti. Pale bluish-green, well defined woody trunks have shallow ribs usually between 5-8 on stems upto 6 inches in diameter. Areoles are tightly spaced on the ribs, each containing 1-4 central spines and 6-9 radials which grow darker with age.Short funnel shaped flowers are pale green-white in colour and are nocturnal but do remain open into the next day. Small un-armed oval shaped reddish coloured fruits follow.
Perfect for Cacti enthusiasts. Very difficult to find for sale at this size in the UK.
