Gnarled Olive Trees

These mature Olea Europaea or Olive Trees have a strong, although slightly more slender trunk than the large Bonsai styles. Each one gnarly and full of character topped with a large open crown of beautiful grey-green foliage. Hand picked by ourselves these statement Olive Trees instantly bring a piece of the Mediterranean to your garden.

Olive Trees have been grown in the Mediterranean for centuries for oil and fruit production and are becoming increasingly popular in the UK as they can tolerate temperatures down to -15 degrees whilst also being very wind resistant. If you would like fruit, a sunny spot is better.
Perfect as an ornamental, evergreen tree, it can be left natural or pruned to keep it within it's space limits.
Caring for an Olive Tree is easy, remember they are a fruit tree so they will need regular watering and feeding. Feed your Tree with a balanced fertilizer such as 'Olive Focus' once a fortnight from May to October to ensure it grows well in the UK.
