Ficus Lyrata. Fiddle-Leaf Fig.
The Ficus Lyrata more commonly known as the Fiddle-Leaf Fig is native to the rainforests of Western Africa but in the UK is grown as a very sculptural and modern looking houseplant. Large elegant glossy dark green leaves resembling the shape of a 'fiddle' have a leathery texture with prominent veins and wavy margins.
Easy to care for, these plants bring a piece of the jungle indoors and help with air purification. May be placed outside during summer. Please be aware the sap is an irritant.
These interior houseplants are exceptional quality from specialist growers. Photos 1-3 show some of the actual plants in stock now. All are fully rooted.
