Fasicularia Bicolor. Hardy Bromeliad.

The Fasicularia Bicolor has a unique and interesting tropical look whilst also being the hardiest of all the Bromeliads. Rosettes of slender, tapering leaves are mid-dark green in colour with small soft teeth along their margins. In summer, the innermost leaves of each mature rosette turn scarlet red and a dense central cluster of pale sky blue tubular flowers are produced. This very exotic looking plant is definately one for the collectors making a wonderful architectural addition to any garden.
