The fast growing Cupressus Leylandii 'Gold Rider' is striking in appearance. The soft, feathery new foliage emerges a golden-yellow contrasting beautifully against the older darker foliage, with the colour holding well all year round. 
Evergreen, it copes well  in windy, exposed and coastal sites, is perfectly hardy in the UK and is easy to maintain. A light trim once or twice a year will keep it's elegant form.
A superb specimen tree which gives a striking effect equally suited to growing in the open ground or in planters.
