Cryptometria Japonica 'Globosa Nana'. Japanese Cedar 'Globosa Nana'.

The Cryptometria Japonica 'Globosa Nana' trees are a very slow growing dwarf evergreen pine. Extremely attractive, these trees have soft needle-like leaves arranged spirally around neatly structured slender branches, giving a 'fluffy' appearance. New emerging leaves are a lush green becoming dark green when mature, taking on a purple tint through winter. Growing evenly they need very little or no pruning  and are pest and disease free.

This very pretty symmetrical tree cope well in coastal sites too and is perfectly hardy in the UK.

A superb specimen tree which has gained The RHS award of Garden Merit it gives a striking architectural effect, equally suited to growing in the open ground or in planters and a perfect choice for small, city or courtyard gardens.
