The Citrus Sinensis 'Sanguinelli', or Blood Orange is a variety of citrus tree that produces nearly seedless, sweet and highly flavoured oranges. In addition to the usual citrus flavour, hints of raspberry and cherry are present and the deeper the flesh colour the stronger these flovours are. The fruit are medium sized and are ready mid to late season.
Perfect as an ornamental too, glossy dark green foliage, thornless, beautifully scented white flowers and tasty fruit year after year. A very pretty and compact tree, great for growing in containers on a patio as well as your garden.

Growth: Evergreen ornamental fruit tree with glossy green leaves and delicious, sweet and tender fruit. Very productice tree. Flesh can range in colour from orange with blood-coloured streaks to a dark burgundy. Easy to grow.

Moisture: Water well in summer.
