Citrus Lipo. Citrus Lemon x Citrus Paradisi. 

The Citrus Lipo is a hybrid cross between the Citrus Lemon and the Citrus Paradisi(grapefruit tree). It produces very large quality deep yellow fruit usually oval in shape. The thick skin has oil glands dotted over the surface and the flesh is light yellow, juicy and very refeshing with a sharp flavour. Produces flowers and fruit all year round. Seeds are usually present.
Perfect as an ornamental tree too, glossy bright green foliage, beautifully scented large white blossom and tasty colourful fruit year after year. A very pretty tree, great for growing in containers on a patio as well as your garden.

This tree is self-fertile.

    Origin: Unknown exactly but probably Middle East.

    Hardiness: Hardy down to -5 degrees for short periods of time.

    Growth: Evergreen ornamental fruit tree with glossy green leaves and large delicious, sharp tasting fruit usually deep yellow in colour and oval in shape. Pale yellow very juicy flesh. Seeds are usually present. Easy to grow. Large fragrant white blossom. Usually flowers and fruits all year round. 

    Sun: Full sun.

    Exposure: Sheltered.

    Flowering Season: Spring and usually all year.

    Soil: Free draining.

    Moisture: Water freely in summer. Less in winter.

    Feeding: Feed every 2 weeks through summer.
