Citrus Bergamia 'Fantastico'.  Citrus Bergamot Trees

The Citrus Bergamia 'Fantastico' is also more commonly known as the Lemon Bergamot or Orange Bergamot which is a Sour Orange hybrid tree also closely related to the lemon. Medium to large sized fruit are spherical to flattish in shape having yellow skin when ripe and containing pale yellow flesh with a moderate juice content. Few seeds are present. The essential oil in the rind is commercially used to flavour 'Earl Grey Tea' and in perfumes but generally the zest and juice can be used to flavour food, drinks and is perfect used in marinades.
