Chamaecyparis Obtusa 'Nana Gracilis.  Hinoki Cypress.

The Chamaecyparis 'Nana Gracilis' trees are a very slow growing dwarf evergreen conifer. Extremely attractive, these ornamental bonsai trees have very unique foliage. Dense sprays of rich green leaves form irregular undulating fan shaped sprays, producing a broadly conical shape. Spring growth is a lush green bright green giving a striking contrast against the more mature foliage. Growing evenly they need very little or no pruning and are relatively maintenance free.

A superb specimen tree which has gained The RHS award of Garden Merit, it gives a striking architectural effect, equally suited to growing in the ground or in planters and a perfect choice for small, city or courtyard gardens coping well in coastal sites too.  It is perfectly hardy in the UK.

These conifers are exceptional quality from Specialist growers. Photos to follow of some of the actual Conifers in stock now 2026. Please Note: Heights stated include pot sizes.
