The Cereus Peruvianus Monstruosus is a very impressive branching, tree-like cacti. Grey/blue, to grey/green in colour, it is deeply ribbed in a twisting and irregular undulating pattern giving an extrodinary and unique look.A night blooming Cacti, the exquisite flowers open in the evening and remain open the next day. White to pinkish in colour they can be 6-7inches in diameter and are very fragrant.
This species produce edible fruits, reddish in colour when mature which look similar to a small apple.

Growth Characteristics: Slow growing branching tree-like Cactus. Grey/blue to grey/green in colour. Deeply ribbed in a twisting irregular undulating pattern. Does have spines. Nocturnal large white fragranced flowers. Small red, apple-like edible fruit.
Sun: Full sun/partial shade.
Exposure: Sheltered.
Soil: Well drained soil. Gritty. Not rich in Nitrogen.
Moisture: Water around every 10-14 days. Allow to dry between waterings. Keep dry in winter.
