The Cereus Forbesii Spiralis is a realy eyecatching fast growing columnar variety of cacti which branches from its base with age. Dark blue-green stems have a waxy bloom on the surface with between 5-9 widely spaced ribs which are covered with short spines. Unusually this cactus grows naturally in a spiral formation with no training, giving it a 'funky' modern look.Flowers are are pinkish-white in color produced through summer followed by small red fruits.
Perfect for Cacti enthusiasts. Very difficult to find to buy at this size in the UK.

Hardiness: Hardy down to -2 degrees if kept dry. Best kept inside through Winter.
Growth Characteristics: Fast growing Columnar Cactus. Bluish green stems have a waxy bloom covered in short spines. 5-9 widely spaced ribs Grows naturally into a spiral. Waxy pinkish-white flowers through Summer followed by red fruit.
Sun: Full sun/partial shade.
Exposure: Exposed/sheltered.
Soil: Well drained soil. Gritty. Not rich in Nitrogen.
Moisture: Water around every 10-14 days. Allow to dry between waterings. Keep dry in winter.
