The Boston Fern is a very graceful indoor fern. Lush green leaves are long and arching, with leaflets formed in such a way giving a ripple effect. It is a popular houseplant and great for providing a focal point in either office or home with it's 'fountain' of foliage especially, if it is placed in a position where it's long fronds can hang down. Common Name: Boston Fern, Sword Fern.
Native: Northern South America, Mexico, Florida, West Indies
Hardiness: Frost tender. Indoor Plant.
Growth: Long glossy green feathery drooping fronds. Non toxic. Air purifyer. Relatively fast growing, evergreen. Easy to grow.
Sun: Bright indirect light. Aviod draughts.
Soil:Rich soil. Fast draining.
Moisture: Keep evenly moist at all times but do not waterlog. In winter allowthe surface of the soil to dry a little before waterings. Mist leaves regularly.
Feeding: Feed every couple of months in growing season.
