Apricot Tree. Variety 'Currot'.

The 'Currot' is quite a vigorous variety of Apricot Tree with a slightly open form, it is easy to grow and a reliable producer of fruit after it's first year. Scented white or pink blossom is produced in Springtime followed by the apricots which are produced in bunches and ripen early in the Summer.  The fruit is small to medium in size and slightly flattened in form having a yellowish coloured skin with slight reddish tones. The fleshly pulp is whitish, slightly firm and packed with delicate flavours. The Variety 'Currot' is self fertile, meaning no other tree is needed to set the fruit. Grows very well in a sunny sheltered location, great for coastal locations and hardy throughout the UK.
