Apricot Tree. Variety 'Corbato'.
The 'Corbato' is a vigorous variety of Apricot Tree, tall with an open branch form, it is easy to grow and a reliable producer of fruit after it's first year. Scented white or pink blossom is produced in Springtime followed by the apricots which are produced in bunches and ripen later in the Summer. The fruit is medium to large in size having a yellow to orange coloured thin skin. The flesh is slightly firm and packed with sweet flavours. The Variety 'Corbato' is self fertile, meaning no other tree is needed to set the fruit. Grows very well in a sunny sheltered location, great for coastal locations and hardy throughout the UK.
