Large Apple Trees, variety 'Royal Gala'.
The 'Royal Gala' Apple Tree is a very attractive and popularl variety of dessert apple producing good regular crops of medium sized fruit. A great eating apple which also stores particularly well. Roundish shaped apples are pale green in colour richly blushed with red where the sun hits them. The white flesh is crisp and firm, quite juicy with a honey like sweetness.

Flowering in April-May these trees have very attractive fragrant white blossom and pale pink followed by the apples ready to harvest in late September. Easy to grow, 'Royal Gala' is partially self fertile so while a pollination partner is not strictly necessary to produce a crop a larger one may be gained by having one. Has gained RHS Award For Garden Merit.
