Agave Potatorum Verschaffeltii.
The Agave Potatorum Verschaffeltii is a very beautiful agave and makes a wonderful and attractive architectural centrepiece. Smallish in size reaching 60cm tall by 60cmin diameter, charcterized by broad, fleshy leaves which are slightly bent backwards being a striking blue-grey to silver-grey in colour forming an open symmetrical rosette. The leaves have beautiful and unique imprinted patterns on their surfaces left by reddish teeth along their margins. Often it is a solitary Agave but offsets can be produced.
Be mindful of where to plant as each leaf also has a sharp terminal point which can be twisted or slightly wavy. A very interesting and ornamental Agave, it is easy to grow but slow, great for exotic gardens.
