Cordyline Australis 'Karo Kiri'.
The Cordyline Australis 'Karo Kiri' is an unusual and relatively new variety of Cordyline. Short spikey looking leaves have a distinct yellow midrib on their undersides. Overtime a trunk will form and branching can occur. Panicles of fragrant white flowers appers in summer when the cordyline is mature enough. Also known as the Dwarf Cabbage Palm as it only reaches a height of between 1-2m, making it a perfect and unique addition for a patio, courtyard or balcony as well as the garden. Salt and wind tolerant it is great for coastal positions.
Cold hardy down to -7 or lower and evergreen, it gives architectural interest throughout the whole year.
