Cereus Peruvianus Cristata.
The Cereus Peruvianus Cristata is a very unique and unusual cactus. A compact form of the normal Cereus Peruvianus with fan shaped crested whorled stems, grey-green to blue-green in colour. Widely spaced areoles have whitish-grey wool but the amount of spines is very variable in both amount and colour; numerous or absent, grey or reddish-brown. The flowers are nocturnal 12-15cm long, white petals with reddish tips if you are lucky enough to get them as some specimens may unfortunately not flower. This strange cactus makes a great and intriguing houseplant.Very easy to keep and needs minimal maintenance. Probably the only ones of this size for sale in the UK.
