Canna 'Striata'.
The Canna 'Striata' is a very impressive rhizomatous clump forming perennial. Magnificent light green leaves are striped along their veins with a deep yellow colour, the leaf edges having thin purple margins. This impressive foliage provides a wonderful backdrop to richly coloured flowers in any garden. Large vivid orange flowers are produced on plum coloured stems in summer, through into early Autumn. Frost tender it is perfect for growing in containers or placing into a border through summer to give it a striking tropical look. In most locations the bulb will need to be dug up before the frost appears and moved indoors, storing in a warm dry place before re-planting in Spring. These specimens are exceptional quality.

Origin: Asia. Tropical North and South America.
Hardiness: Protect from frost in all but milder areas of the UK. Dig bulb up before the frost and store in a warm dry place.
Growth Characteristics: Fast Growing. Very stylish and impressive perennial. Impressive green leaves with yellow colouring along the veins and thin purple margins. Large vivid orange flowers on plum coloured stems are produced in summer through into Autumn. Easy to grow.
