The Arenga Engleri is a beautiful and extremely attractive clustering palm, small to medium in size. Long fish-tailed shaped pinnate leaves, dark green on top, silvery underneath, twist gracefully. Each trunk is covered with delicate black fibres.
Evergreen, this palm prefers partial shade and will take quite a few degrees of frost. One of the best palms to display the tropical look. it is still a palm which is quite hard to come by and quite sought after.

Hardiness: -5 or lower.
Growth Characteristics: Slow growing, tropical looking clustering palm. Elegant arching feathery fish-tail shaped leaves, green on top, silvery underneath. Delicate black fibres cover the trunks.
Exposure: Sheltered.
Sunlight: Partial shade
Soil: Rich but well draining.
Moisture: Water regularly but moderately during summer. Keep moist.
Feeding: Benefits from regular fertilizing.
