Aloe x Spinosissima. Spider Aloe
The Aloe x Spinosissima is a very showy evergreen Aloe plant prized for it's dramatic flowers and attractive foliage. It is a hybrid cross between the Aloe Arborescens and Aloe Humilis. Relatively compact in size with many decorative rosettes of widely spreading sword shaped fleshy succulent leaves with soft teeth on both upper and lower surfaces and also along their margins.

In winter many flower spikes appear above the foliage producing a spectacular display of long lasting brilliantly coloured coral red orange tubular shaped flowers. It will then go on to produce another display in summer providing growing conditions are right

Very easy to keep and great for growing in pots needing minimal maintenance, this aloe is also drought and salt tolerant.
