Aeonium Aboreum 'Velour'.
The Aeonium Aboreum 'Velour' is a strange but very attractive perennial branching succulent shrub. Showy rosettes that resemble flowers are produced at the ends of each tall arching stem. Each glossy rosette is made up of spoon-shaped to rounded soft textured fleshy leaves, dark purple towards the outside and bright green in the centre. The more sunshine it receives the more colour it develops. Bright yellow flowers may be produced in late Spring or Summer. Easy to grow it makes a very unique and pretty container plant in the UK.
