Prunus Lusitanica is ideal for growing and training onto a frame as a pleached tree giving an elegant thick screen providing great privacy and an excellent windbreak to any areas of the garden, courtyard or city garden without taking up a great amount of floor space. An evergreen tree, the oval shaped leaves are glossy green in colour arranged alternately with new shoots being red. Between April and May flower spikes are produced with sweet smelling creamy-white flowers attracting bees, butterflies and birds.
Very easy to grow and maintain, these attractive and ornamental trees are tough and completely hardy.
